Ambassador Christopher Ogar, popularly known as Jay Moni, a rising Nigerian street artist, has raised a heartfelt alarm over the worsening insecurity and relentless killings across the country, declaring that “Nigeria is bleeding.”

In a recent Facebook post that has drawn wide attention, Jay Moni expressed deep sorrow and frustration at the state of the nation, describing the situation as unbearable and urging the government to act without delay.

Opening his message with the plea, “God have mercy!” he lamented the overwhelming hardship faced by ordinary Nigerians. According to him, the economic turmoil alone is already costing lives, making the continued violence even more devastating.

“The hardship alone is already killing people, why allow all these killings?” he wrote, stressing the needless suffering being experienced nationwide.

Addressing both the federal government and other relevant authorities, Jay Moni called for urgent intervention, insisting that the level of insecurity has become “too much.”

He painted a grim picture of the uncertainty gripping communities, “We don’t know where is next. No one deserves the kind of pain every displaced family is facing right now.”

Turning his appeal directly to the nation’s leadership, he urged the President to fully deploy the powers of his office to restore order and protect citizens.

Jay Moni called on the President to “wield the big stick”, a call for strong, decisive action backed by political will, using the authority of what he described as “his highly exhausted office.”

With his message now resonating widely, the young artist concludes with a plea shared by millions: an urgent demand for peace, safety, and leadership strong enough to stop the bleeding.
