…as UNICAL Vocational and Entrepreneurial Education Students Present Award of Honour
Ambassador Christopher Ogar, popularly known as Jay Moni, and CEO of Jaytech Group, has been honoured with the Yala Achievers Award for Entertainer of the Year.
Jay Moni, a fast-rising and currently trending artiste, is gaining wide recognition for his musical talent. Some of his popular songs include Congratulations, Where The Money Dey (WTMD), and his latest release, No Competition.
The award was presented during the 7th edition of the Yala Achievers Summit and Awards 2025, held at the Metropolitan Hotel in Calabar, yesterday. He was honoured alongside other notable individuals for his exceptional leadership, vision, and contribution to national development.
The organiser of the Yala Achievers Awards, Mr Jacob Odey (also known as Odey D Uncommon Comedian), who is the CEO of MOJ’s Entertainment Ltd, praised Jay Moni for his dedication to service and excellence.
“Your selfless dedication, unwavering commitment, and tireless efforts to uplift others have not gone unnoticed. You continue to showcase professional and intellectual strength in service to our nation and our rural communities,” Mr Odey said.
In a related event, Jay Moni also received an Award of Honour from the Vocational and Entrepreneurial Education Students Association, Faculty of Vocational and Entrepreneurial Education, University of Calabar.
The students recognised him for his generous contributions to the community, especially his donation of a borehole to Ochochi Community in Okpoma, Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, which now provides clean and safe water to residents—positively impacting lives.
Although Jay Moni could not attend the ceremony in person, he was represented by his Personal Assistant, Mr Victor Ahlinvide, who accepted the awards on his behalf.
In his message, Jay Moni expressed heartfelt gratitude and dedicated the awards to God, his family, and his ever-supportive fans.
